So, we overcome the limitation. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11277148819153438060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-23751265202257859142013-07-16T20:55:33.649+05:302013-07-16T20:55:33.649+05:30Recently I had to copy a lot of users from one gro...Recently I had to copy a lot of users from one group to another. I did it the same way mentioned here. I did not see this posting though. I was trying to find out a better way so landed up in this page. I felt good when I see others have also used the same approach and there are no other easy way of doing it. One constraint with this approach is that there is a limitation to copy the email ids. The add user window does not work if the emails list overshoots 256 characters.Supriya Dashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02293677238793942307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-19573737607863706022013-03-18T07:49:09.139+05:302013-03-18T07:49:09.139+05:30Hi there,

When a user leaves a group you have to remove user from multiple groups. In this instance for a large company such as the one I work for who has large number of groups, you need to keep accurate group registry to ensure each group is current. Does anyone know another solution how to add a group within a group? If so please post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-73753096026325170712013-02-08T03:17:26.796+05:302013-02-08T03:17:26.796+05:30Thanks for the great solution, worked well in Shar...Thanks for the great solution, worked well in Sharepoint 2010.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-7745460985069514482013-01-14T16:53:08.508+05:302013-01-14T16:53:08.508+05:30Very nice post ... saved a lot of time :-)Very nice post ... saved a lot of time :-)Umair Hafeez Mughalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13208898664462815854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-38159676964723664472012-10-04T16:46:09.993+05:302012-10-04T16:46:09.993+05:30fantasticly simple solution! love it!fantasticly simple solution! love it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02241566559653644277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-34178121884772889942012-10-04T16:45:21.288+05:302012-10-04T16:45:21.288+05:30so simple! no need to write any program to do this...so simple! no need to write any program to do this as other solutions suggest. fantastic!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02241566559653644277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893582346020662759.post-37386901074423243422012-08-22T14:05:09.793+05:302012-08-22T14:05:09.793+05:30Outstandingly simple solution - I echo the sentime...Outstandingly simple solution - I echo the sentiments above!
